Why use mothballs in the vacuum bag after a flea treatment?

Flea pupae hatch in response to vacuuming. These newly emerged adult fleas get sucked up into the bag. The moth ball will kill any fleas trapped in the vacuum bag.

 

Why doesn’t one treatment get rid of fleas?

Flea pupae cases can remain dormant for months when there is limited activity. The pesticides available to the professional pest company today are simply not that persistent and need to be applied where activity is detected.

 

How can you tell the difference between flying ants and termites?

Flying ants have a pinched waist, like a wasp. Ant’s wings may be just slightly longer than the body of the insect. Termites have a broad or straight waist and the four wings are twice as long as the body.
